I started taking the medication a year ago and it seems to be getting worse and worse. I am not able to eat meat anymore because it is so tiring

There are tricks that may help, such as biting into a lemon before taking the medication. Some people also find that taking methotrexate by subcutaneous injection rather than by mouth reduces this effect.
