My spouse would like to know how to wash his penis being uncircumcised. He reacts to several soaps (small redness, buttons). The smell of his penis is very strong sometimes and we were wondering if it could also be the soap on the foreskin.

Usually a fragrance-free soap like the Dove bar with the fragrance-free label is a good option.
It is recommended to rinse well and lightly pat the area with the towel instead of rubbing vigorously.
Being a closed area, an odor is not abnormal, especially at the end of the day or if your partner is sweating.
