I have red patches on my legs that have been itching since winter?

. I have had this condition since the beginning of winter. I have been using 98% aloe vera, dry skin creams, Polysporin. In the shower I soap the patches.

Hello, thank you for your question
First of all, we will focus on non-pharmacological measures:
  • from now on use a fragrance-free soap like Dove. Try not to use water that is too hot in the shower.
  • After the shower, avoid rubbing the skin vigorously. Instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, then apply moisturizer within 5 minutes of getting out of the shower.
  • Use a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Base Glaxal, Cerave, Cutibase, Aveeno, or others as often as needed. Discontinue the use of aloes and Polysporin. Apply the cream every time the urge to scratch arises.
If you do not notice any improvement after 2 weeks, you should consult your doctor
I hope I've been helpful to you, and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me

Thank you for your good advice Mr. Samaha!
What do you think about the 1% hydrocortisone?

This product could be used once or twice a day on the parts that bother you the most, but it should not be applied to a large area, such as the whole leg, and should not be used for more than 8 weeks without medical supervision.
