Can I take almotriptan if I am pregnant?

I have always had migraines, but it is worse now that I am pregnant. I am 10 weeks pregnant, I have at least 1 migraine a week that can last 3 days. My migraines are accompanied by vomiting. Can I take Almotriptan 12.5 mg while pregnant? If not, what can I take?

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question! Almotriptan is not recommended during pregnancy. Another agent of the same family, sumatriptan, is preferred.
