Hello!
The interaction between some antibiotics (including Doxycycline) and dairy products is related to the high calcium content of dairy products. Unfortunately, any product rich in calcium can cause the same problem.
If plant milk is fortified with calcium, it can be consumed during antibiotic treatment, but care must be taken to ensure that the two products do not remain in the stomach at the same time. The antibiotic and milk should be taken at least 4 hours apart.
So, if you take your antibiotic at breakfast and supper, you could consume any form of milk (plant or not) at lunch. Another option would be to take your antibiotic at lunch and evening with a non-milk or derivative snack, so you could eat or drink whatever you want at lunch or dinner.
I hope I helped you with your question.
Have a nice day!
