Should I take folic acid to increase my chances of conception?

I would like to get pregnant after a miscarriage. I would like to know if it would be good to take folic acid.

Hello, folic acid is essential to avoid neural tube defects, but does not necessarily reduce the risk of miscarriage.
Miscarriage should not affect the chances of getting pregnant. Stress and other factors can interfere with conception. The chances of miscarriage are about 1 in 4 before 12 weeks so many women have to go through this unfortunately. I wish you the best of luck.
