Last week I had a urinary infection. I did a negative pregnancy test. Tonight I did another one and it was positive. Is there any danger if I took APO sulfation for 3 days?

First, congratulations! :)
The antibiotic in question (Sulfatrim) contains two drugs, Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim. It is the latter that can sometimes pose a risk to the developing baby, especially when taken over a long period of time during the first trimester. That said, it is customary to take folic acid when a woman is of childbearing age. Are you taking it? It may reduce the risk, just so you know. Also, I recommend that you talk to your doctor about increasing the dose of folic acid during your early pregnancy (first 12 weeks). This is sometimes done for women like you who are taking or have taken a drug like trimethoprim.
