Could the red cheeks be due to his cold/virus or would it indicate something else?

Good morning, ma'am,
Yes, it is common! It may be a bit of eczema that is exacerbated during illness.
Do you use anything for this problem?
I suggest applying a cream or ointment like Glaxal Base, Aquaphor, Aveeno or other, at least 3 times a day. Avoid using soap on the face and rubbing the skin to dry it (rather pat it dry).
I will remain available if there is anything

Thank you! He is much better and I also noticed that his cheeks get redder at the end of the day, and when it is warmer in the house. So very logical and not worrying. But at the time it was pretty intense the first night and my friends made me worry hihi!
