I don't understand my ovulation tests?

41-year-old woman3 years ago
Hello !! I was wondering why my ovulation peak is always 4-5 days before my period? I do it every day and I don't peak before that! I'm trying to have baby 2 so I would love to know why

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
The "peak", ovulation, usually occurs 10 to 14 days before the first expected day of menstruation
So at some point, it is necessary to know the length of your cycle. This can obviously be more difficult if yours is irregular
As for the "peak" that you notice with the ovulation tests, it will be darker on the day of ovulation and will become lighter afterwards. However, there is still a bit of subjectivity in the comparison of the color.
I hope I have been helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
