Hello! If you want to take lozenges to relieve a sore throat, I suggest the following measures first: Gargle with salt water (1/2 teaspoon in half a cup of water) for 30 seconds after each meal and at bedtime (so 4 times a day). Then, you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) to relieve the throat pain if you are not allergic to this medication (2 tablets of 500 mg every 6 hours if needed).
If this is not enough, you could always use lozenges but ideally do not take Halls. You could use Labonte's honey-lemon lozenges if you really want to, but personally I would just stick to the measures listed above, otherwise a teaspoon of honey in a cup of warm water will do the trick too! The lozenges only relieve the discomfort very temporarily unlike the other measures. I hope this answers your questions!
Have a nice day!
