I am currently taking Vyvanse for my ADHD and Biacna for my acne (cream). Do I have to stop these if I am trying to get pregnant or can I stop them only when I find out I am pregnant?

Both Vyvanse and Biacna pose a risk to the baby (even in the first trimester). Therefore, it would be wiser to stop these medications before planning a pregnancy. One should also be sure to take a folic acid supplement (0.4mg) for at least 3 months prior to pregnancy to reduce the occurrence of neural tube defects.
