I want to take St. John's Wort, but I am taking Losartan/HCT for my high blood pressure. I read on the internet that St. John's Wort is contraindicated with blood pressure medication. Is this true?

St. John's Wort is not really contraindicated in hypertensive patients. The mention you read on the internet is probably related to the (low) risk of hypertensive crisis when using this supplement at the same time as foods rich in tyramine (found in certain aged cheeses and in certain wines, among others).

I recommend that you discuss with your pharmacist before initiating the use of this supplement, considering that it interacts with many medications.
