I am taking Escitalopram and Micronor and I have had no libido at all for a few months. Is this normal?

I have been taking escitalopram for at least 1 year I have been taking the Micronor contraceptive pill for almost a year as a method of contraception. I changed to this one because I had migraines. The problem started about 3 months ago and is getting worse. I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.

It can indeed be a side effect of both drugs. How long have you been taking micronor? When did the problem start? Are you breastfeeding or is there a medical reason why you need to take micronor? So it's hard to know which drug is the cause, it may even be the combined effect of the 2. You can always try to add a drug to the antidepressant, e.g. wellbutrin, which can help with sexual dysfunction. Alternatively, some women can use testosterone, but there are some side effects. I would encourage you to discuss this with your doctor.
