My nail is cracked and has changed color, what can I do?

Hello, I would like to know what you advise me to do for my situation! A few years ago I cracked my thumb nail! This one started to split as well! Afterwards, I started to have throbbing on this nail and the cracked area became black and then green! It is very painful and it throws a lot! This situation is unfortunately back now!
