Hello madam, sorry to read about your troubles!
In order to better advise you, would it be possible to know what symptoms you are currently experiencing?
Also, which Nyquil product is it?
Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the feedback!
Nyquil products contain an ingredient that should be avoided when taking citalopram, especially since its effectiveness (as well as that of other syrups) has not been proven.
I strongly suggest nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as necessary during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can reduce their backward flow, which often causes congestion and coughing. It's a little unpleasant but it works wonders! There is no maximum number of times during the day.
Acetaminophen (Tylenol and other brands) can help relieve throat and head pain. Lozenges such as Halls or Fisherman's Friend can provide local relief as well. I also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference, and often.
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm always available if you have any other questions! I also wish you a speedy recovery!
