I would like to know why it hurts when I take a deep breath without any other symptoms? Should I go see a doctor or wait?

I have pain on the side of my right lung from breast level to my back and neck on a deep breath. I have no other symptoms and I have no secretions in my lungs. I have been back on the birth control pill for 5 days and I am taking low dose metformin (treatment for sopk).

Hello, Madam,
Is the pain present at all times or with a particular position or activity?
Is there a time of day when it is better/worse?

Hello, it is more or less present during the day but comes back in the evening. No particular position. I would say that it's also better since my first message

Thanks for the feedback, I am reassured to read about the improvement :)
Considering the improvement, I only suggest to monitor the situation. You should continue to notice a gradual improvement every day. If this changes, you will need to see a doctor as a precaution.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!

Finally I developed symptoms and I tested positive for covid.
my problem now is not when I breathe but after a sinus rinse, I have pain in both ears. I feel a pressure and as if they were blocked. I am someone who suffers from tinnitus and the ringing is more present than usual after the sinus rinse. It's pretty disturbing the combination of all this. I don't know what to do. It woke me up during the night.
thanks!

I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
If you are still experiencing congestion, I would suggest continuing with the Sinus Rinse even if you are preparing the entire mixture but irrigating a smaller amount and/or applying less pressure to the bottle.
A decongestant nasal spray such as Drixoral or Dristan can be used to relieve these symptoms, but its use should not exceed 3 to 5 days. You should check with your pharmacist to see if this type of product is safe for you based on your history.
If the situation persists for more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult your doctor.
I hope I have been helpful to you, I remain available if you have any other questions!
