Hello, I am a 20 year old woman who has been diagnosed with sopk. When I was little I used to get sore throats all the time and in my home country I remember that every time I had a sore throat I was injected with something I think it was a corticosteroid or a corticosteroid, but I'm not sure (I got this injection a lot of times until I was about 11-12). I would like to know if there are any long term effects, specifically if it could have played with my hormones and caused my sopk today.

Whether it is corticosteroids or antibiotics, it is very unlikely that their occasional use will cause polycystic ovary syndrome.
