Treatment for this condition is usually multi-modal. I believe that the first step is to find the cause of this. If it is a previous trauma that is causing or worsening the symptoms, a psychotherapy consultation may be a first avenue. Otherwise, I suggest that you see your gynecologist again, who can suggest other treatments.
