I have aches and pains since the dose of Synthroid was increased?

Hello, I am a 69 year old man in very good physical shape, training since the age of 18 and a lot of sport. For the last 8 weeks I have been taking Syntroide: , following an annual blood test my doctor contacts me to tell me that my thyroid gland is at 29.70 and asks me if I am experiencing fatigue, hair loss, sore throat... I tell her that yesterday I played my field hockey game like every week and that today I did my 1H30 training like every other day (dumbbell) and I feel in great shape, ok she prescribes me syntroide 50, 6 weeks later after a second blood test the result is 14.60, she changes the dose to 75 BUT since I take the syntroide I have pain everywhere for example in the left humurus bone, my left hip that I used to have a little pain is now so bad that I walk with a lot of pain and sometimes it's the right hip, in short I really don't feel well, I see my doctor in 2 weeks and I intend to suggest to him to stop the syntroide, when do you think?

Hello Sir, sorry to read about your troubles!
I am reassured that you will have an appointment in 2 weeks, which will give us time to evaluate the evolution of your pain
Since you did not have these symptoms before at the 50 mcg per day dose, it is difficult to find an association between your symptoms and the 75 mcg per day dose, although it is not completely impossible.
Have you had these types of pain in the past?

No, never

Thanks for the feedback!
With all due respect, you have two options: if the pain/discomfort is temporary, you can wait for your RV in 2 weeks. Otherwise, I invite you to contact your pharmacist to discuss your needs: the pharmacist could adjust the dose if deemed necessary, while waiting for your next appointment, if you feel that it will be difficult to continue at 75 mcg/day.
