I would like to know if I can take a quetiapine tablet at night to help me sleep while taking venlafaxine?

I have started a treatment for depression since a few days and this treatment causes me a lot of insomnia (apo desvenlafaxine 50mg per day) I have at home pills that my doctor prescribed me for some time already for anxiety and to sleep (quetiapine).

Hello, There are no interactions between desvenlafaxine and quetiapine. The only thing to consider is the risk of cumulative drowsiness, but you say that desvenlafaxine is more likely to keep you awake. So there's nothing to worry about. If you take desvenlafaxine at bedtime, the other thing that might be tried is to move it to the morning. Insomnia is less likely to impact your sleep.
