Hello, it all depends on the context. As a pharmacist, we can prescribe laboratory tests for follow-up purposes. So if you are already known to have thyroid problems, pharmacists can prescribe the test. However, for diagnostic purposes (if you are not known to have thyroid problems), this activity remains exclusive to physicians

Symptoms are wide-ranging and include: persistent fatigue
weight gain;
swelling of the neck and/or face;
dryness of the skin;
constipation;
hoarseness of the voice;
brittle nails;
intolerance to cold;
depressed mood;
slowed heart rate;
muscle pain or weakness;
hair loss.
