I have a big problem with underarm sweat. I tried Drysol, but it didn't help. What should I do now?

Hello, first of all I would like to know what ''strength'' of Drysol have you tried. This product exists in different concentrations (from 6.25% aluminum choride to 20% aluminum chloride). If you have tried the ''light 6.25%'', I could suggest you try the 20% and see if the situation improves. However, if you have already tried the 20% without success, I believe that a dermatology consultation could be useful. There are actually other non-prescription products (for example: Certain Dri (12% aluminum chloride) or Perspirex (15% aluminum chloride)), but I have little hope that they will bring a better result than Drysol 20%. The dermatologist could see with you other alternatives, including botox injections, for a severe case.

From a non-pharmacological point of view, certain changes in lifestyle can also help a little: reduce stress, limit the consumption of certain foods such as alcohol, coffee, chocolate, cola, tea, spicy foods etc... Hoping to have helped you a little, don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions, have a nice day, Isabelle Pelletier pharmacist
