I still have white skin inside my vagina after treatment with Canesten. What should I do?

I had a yeast infection two weeks ago in my opinion. White vaginal discharge like cottage cheese and some itching. I took a canesten treatment in the form of vaginal tablets. (1 day). After 2 days, I found the shape of the tablet in my underwear as if it had come out. The itching disappeared and the losses also but I always notice white inside the vagina and a weak smell of onion. Should I do a new treatment? I bought the 3 day treatment in the form of a cream.
