I had syphilis a few years ago. My left eye is having a hard time opening. I take reyataz for my hiv I went to the emergency room and they took a blood test and said it was syphilis. I received 3 doses of peniceline after a few weeks and the symptoms were gone, no follow-up was done. I went to see my doctor who is following me and she took another blood test but they didn't call me to tell me that he had anything. Last year I saw an opthalmologist for the same problem and he could not see anything in my eye. I will see the same one next week
