I have vaginal infections several times a month. Why?

I get itchy vagina and lips several times a month. I use a mild soap when I shower and I use babywipes to try on myself. I don't use lube or condoms with my partner. But I'm getting tired of having vaginal infections several times a month. I almost feel like it's my partner's semen that's causing it... can you help me figure out what it could be...

Hello!
What are your symptoms specifically, other than itching, when you say you have several infections a month? Discharge, odor, redness?
By several infections per month, do you mean that the symptoms go away on their own and then they come back? If so, how many infections per month or so?
Using a mild soap (Dove odorless for example) is a great habit.
You could use a water-based lubricant (KY for example) during sex, since this will prevent irritation.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello,
Actually there is no smell or vaginal discharge like a real infections but there is a lot of redness and itching and burning sensation outside and inside. To soothe it all I take a cold lukewarm bath without soap nothing just to soothe and I apply zincofax baby cream to stop the itching/burning.
But it comes back after 2-3 relationships with my spouse.
Maybe adding a water based lube would help too. Jen uses not afraid of getting an infection
For showering I use a baby soap without perfume
Generally it stops on its own but sometimes I take vaginal infection pills. I just can't figure out what's causing it...
I have good hygiene, my spouse does too, we don't take anything too fragrant, no condoms or lube.. So I said to myself it's either the laundry soap is too strong for my underwear... or my spouse's semen is causing me irritation... I don't see any other problem. A real infections I will have odor loss etc this is not the case when it happens
.. i will try.the lube wishing it helps.

Thanks for all the information!
In fact, it's probably just irritation from intercourse. Using a water-based lube will not normally cause an infection, so I recommend you try it!
It doesn't really look like an infection, so I recommend checking over the next few weeks to see if it subsides, following this advice.
I hope I was able to answer your question.
