I am taking doxycycline and I have bumps on my face now, what can I do?

I have pcos and i started a new medication for acne. I started taking zincovit apex and 2 doxycycline everyday for pcos acne. I use differin gel on my face during the day with cera ve moisturizer and Neutrogena sunscreen. Today i came home after grocery shopping and my face was super itchy. slowly small bumps started popping up. other parts of my body were itchy yesterday. the rash seems to gone now. it was just on my face

Hi, when did you start doxycycline? How has the rash evolved since you've posted the question here? Is the rash on the whole body, or just areas exposed to sunlight? Thank you for the feedback! If you suspect doxycycline, it would be wise to wait a full week before re-starting it. If after re-starting it the same type of rash reappears, we will have a better idea as to its cause.
