Is it normal that somebody’s sperm has an irregular consistency (some parts liquid/translucent, other parts very thick) ?

Hi Madam,
Sperm is usually a thick cloudy-white or grey fluid with a jelly-like consistency. Watery semen can sometimes be a sign of low sperm count, ejaculating thin, clear semen may also be a temporary condition with no serious health concerns. Sometimes, a part of the sperm can be more «liquid» or «translucent» but the other part should be thicker. If you notice that the semen is consistently watery or discolored, I recommend going to see a primary care doctor for further investigations.
