My throat is hurting and is red?

I got a sore throat almost 2 weeks ago and tested positive for covid ten days ago. The soft palate in front of my tonsils is red and my throat feels uncomfortable. My tonsils are not swollen, it’s just the soft palate that is red.

Usually this lasts about a week, but if it's been longer, unfortunately you'll have to see a doctor in order to receive a correct diagnosis and if need be not delay the right treatment.
