Is it normal for discharge to not come out and stay inside the vagina clumped? Should I stop the medication?

Hello, I have been having recurring white clumpy cottage cheese-like discharge every 2months without odour, inchiness or rash. This discharge does not come out but remains inside the vagina. I treated with oral Cantesen before with Doctor’s prescription but since it is back I am using the 6 day pessary(self prescribed) and the pessary doesnt seem to dissolve due to vaginal dryness. I’m on the 3rd day of treatment and I notice pink clumpy discharge. I am not sure if the medication is working because again, the discharge persists inside and does not come out. I’m unsure at this point what is it.
