I have facial pain one week after an episode of cold sore has resolved.
Is it normal, could it become recurrent after each following episodes ?

Cold sores are usually localised and do not cause that kind of symptom especially if you do not currently have an outbreak.
While you may take Tylenol for this pain, if it persists more than 1 week, please see a doctor for a personalized checkup.
