Good evening,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
These symptoms are consistent with possible candida vaginitis (yeast or still fungus). 2 vaginal cream/ovule/tablet treatments are available on the shelves (Monistat or Canesten) and 1 oral capsule treatment is available behind the counter but without a prescription (Diflucan).
The only thing left to do is to check which of these products is right for you depending on your known allergies, medications you are currently taking and if you are pregnant.

If I don't have any allergies and am only taking the LoLo birth control pill, what do you think is the best option?

Fluconazole (Diflucan) is an oral option, so it is easier than a vaginal cream/ovule treatment. The cream/ovule can sometimes cause a vaginal burning sensation when applied. I would recommend 1 capsule of fluconazole 150mg in a single dose. Most symptoms should disappear within the first 24 hours (complete resolution within 3 days).
