I had severe underarm irritation after trying a new antiperspirant. How do I choose my new antiperspirant?

I've never reacted like this before. Deodorants are not an option due to heavy sweating

Hello,
The risk of irritation secondary to the use of antiperspirant is well and truly known. Generally speaking, if you have used an antiperspirant in the past and tolerated it well, I would recommend switching back to it. If not, we can also recommend reducing the frequency of use of your product. It is also recommended to follow the application instructions, for example with Drysol it is suggested to use it at bedtime and to dry the armpits before application to reduce the risk of irritation. Armpits should also be washed the next morning, 6-8 hours after application.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I tried nivea stress protec antiperspirant. I used to use a Degree® Women Clinical Protection antiperspirant, but I was unsatisfied with its effectiveness, which is why I switched. I only recently realized that antiperspirants were never as effective as they should have been.
In the case of nivea, I applied it before bed, on clean underarms that had not just been waxed and during the night I felt the inflammation.

Thanks for the information.
One thing's for sure, we'll wait until the irritation is resolved before we call anything back.
To choose the next one, we'll have to go by trial and error unfortunately. Try to find one that doesn't contain zinc citrate, though, since that's the active ingredient in Nivea's product.
Happy day :)
