Hello ma'am, would it be possible to know what you tried as an option and for how long?

Hello,
For the last 3 months, we have been washing our hair with a mild shampoo that we leave to work and then we use a fine-tooth comb to remove the hair. (The shampoos that we have tried are Live Clean and Avene Washing Oil). Also, my doctor talked to me about olive oil, which did not work at all.

Thanks for the information!
Indeed, the oil (baby oil, olive oil or other) that we apply after the bath for about 15 minutes and then lightly scrape with a comb afterwards works well. This is my usual recommendation. Be aware that hat is not a dangerous condition and usually resolves itself with time.
That being written, I don't see any problem with trying Vaseline application, although it might be a little more unpleasant and difficult to clean up. So I would suggest a test on a small portion of the affected area :)
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm available if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
