Are there any interactions between Humira and probiotics?
Humira for ankylosing spondylitis. I'm going on a trip to Cuba for a week, and I want to take probiotics as a preventive measure before I leave. Since Humira weakens my immune system, I was wondering if it was safe to take probiotics.

Taking probiotics is not recommended if you are taking Humira.
as far as non-pharmacological measures, make sure you don't drink water that is not bottled. This includes ice cubes in beverages. Ask that your meat be cooked properly, and make sure that fruit is peeled because it is impossible to know if it has been washed properly or with what. Same with vegetables, favor vegetables that have been cooked.
