Are there any interactions between Tylenol and the medications my mother is taking?

36-year-old woman2 years ago
Hello, my mother in Morocco, she is under medication: LASILIX, CARDENSIEL, SINTROM, following a heart surgery in 2017. She has just contracted Covid and I would like to know if she can take Tylenol because it is the only medication that helped her fever to diminish quickly and relieve headaches and aches, and this, before her operation.

Hello ma'am, thank you for your question!
Tylenol can increase the effect of Sintrom. To this effect, your mother should not be given more than 2 grams per day, for example 4 tablets of Tylenol 500mg
If this is not possible, an NIR should be performed to ensure that the therapeutic range is maintained.
I hope I have been helpful to you and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
