Hello, I take Naproxen 500 mg and pantoprazole 40 mg. I also take omega 3 supplements as well as magnesium and vitamin D. I would like to know if I can take a St. John's wort supplement with these medications

You are right to ask this question, because St. John's Wort interacts with many medications and natural products. This is also the case with Pantoloc, whose effectiveness may be diminished by St. John's Wort. If you have a history of stomach ulcers, for example, I would recommend avoiding St. John's Wort, as a decrease in the effectiveness of Pantoloc could be risked while taking an anti-inflammatory drug, such as Naproxen, which increases the production of acid in the stomach.
In addition, St. John's Wort may also decrease the effectiveness of Naproxen, but this is a less likely interaction.
If you are not taking any other medication or natural product, I recommend that you wait until you have finished your treatment with Naproxen and Pantoloc before taking St. John's Wort. However, it would also be preferable to consult a pharmacist to verify if St. John's Wort is an effective natural product for the health problem you wish to treat. In addition, you may want to confirm the dose to be used.
