Is my 2-month-old baby at risk if the father has shingles?

My spouse has shingles but he is 30 years old. On the internet it says that he is at risk of having a stroke, heart attack or stroke. He does not take any medication for shingles.

Hello ma'am,
If your spouse has shingles, it would be important to treat it quickly. If it's been less than 72 hours, a pharmacist can start treatment, under certain conditions, while he can get a medical evaluation.
As for the little one, it would be best to avoid contact between him and the infected person. Be aware that he will not develop shingles but will develop chickenpox.
Hopefully this has been helpful, please feel free if you have any other questions
