Should I be worried about her becoming dehydrated? Do you have any recommendations or is it normal for her to still have diarrhea?

Hello, My 15 month old child had a stomach bug last Friday. Since then, she has been having 1 to 2 diarrheas a day and is not eating much. She drinks water and milk (almost the same quantities as in normal time).

Hello,
It can be normal to still have symptoms (even if milder) in the 7 to 10 days following a gastroenteritis episode
In order to properly assess his situation, I need to ask you some questions
How is his general condition?
Do you find that he is urinating normally (usual frequency, usual color and in good quantity)?

She is doing well. Her general condition is good
She drinks a lot of milk and water. However, her appetite has not quite returned. She often nibbles small amounts, but is not eating a full meal yet
I'm starting to see a difference in her stools, they are less liquid
Should I give her probiotics? If so, what do you recommend?
Thank you very much for your answer!

Thank you for the clarification. Probiotics can be useful to rebuild the intestinal flora after a gastro episode. However, it is not always necessary. In his case, if you want to use them, I suggest BioGaia which is normally used for babies
For the moment, there is nothing else to do. The symptoms will decrease more and more and he will be able to keep what he eats
I hope this answers your question
