I've had a ringing in my ears for the past 3 days. Every time it's quiet or calm, it comes back, a little worse and uncomfortable each time. It sounds like I have pressure in my ear, or water moving around. I would describe the sensation a bit like a vibration. It's unpleasant, it hurts. It's really like I have too much pressure behind my eardrums, like when you land in an airplane or when you're driving up/down a hill, but it vibrates.

Good morning, ma'am,
Do you have any other symptoms such as a runny or stuffy nose, even a little? Have you tried anything for this?

Thanks for the feedback.
The basis of treatment will be nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as needed during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Cleansing nasal secretions can reduce the backward flow of secretions, which often causes congestion, discharge and coughing.
Twice a day after nasal hygiene, I suggest the valsalva maneuver: take a deep breath, then close your mouth and pinch the nostrils of your nose and try to exhale as if you were blowing into a balloon while keeping your lips closed.
If it persists for more than 7 days without improvement or gets worse, you should consult a doctor as a precaution.
