I am worried because he is urinating less than normal. I'm afraid of a urinary tract infection at the same time as the teething.

Toothache child of 2 years old. He drools a lot and pees less. Is this normal?

Good morning, Mrs,
Teething is one of the probable causes of salivation and does not indicate a problem. It is possible that teething causes irritability in the child, which in turn can cause or increase the risk of diaper rash.
As long as your child is drinking and eating (even if a little less than usual), wetting and soiling his or her diaper, I suggest that you only monitor his or her general condition, which is the most important.
I remain available if you have any further questions,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
