I have an untreated urinary tract infection (type B streptococcus). Is this dangerous for the baby or is it premature labor?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I can't reach my doctor who left me a message that I have this infection. I did the urine test 2 weeks ago. I am worried about the baby. I plan to go to the clinic tomorrow to get antibiotics.

Hello Ma'am,
There is not an imminent risk to the baby, but it is preferred to treat this infection before delivery. I do recommend that you contact the clinic or your pharmacy so that your doctor can be informed of your desire to treat right away (I also agree that the infection should be treated quickly).
Good evening,
