If it is the same infection, it is important to see a doctor quickly for the management of your infection. This would be the case, for example, if the antibiotic never gave you complete relief and symptoms have persisted since then.
On the other hand, if your last infection was more than a month ago and was well managed (you were completely healed from that infection), it may be a new infection today.
In this second situation, I recommend that you contact your pharmacist. Depending on his assessment of your situation and if it fits the criteria, he may be able to prescribe an antibiotic again.
In any case, if you have a fever, back pain or your general condition is not good (for example, extreme fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite), it is recommended that you seek emergency medical attention.
