If you were prescribed the same antibiotics as the previous infection a month ago, there is a greater risk that the bacteria giving the pain and symptoms of the infection is resistant to the antibiotic.

Bref, if you have been taking your antibiotic for 3 days or more and nothing has improved, I would recommend that you contact your pharmacist or doctor again. They will probably want to make a change in antibiotics.
