Hello, the pharmacist can prescribe a treatment for a recurrent uncomplicated urinary tract infection only if the previous one is less than 12 months old or if there have been less than 3 recurrences in a year. Otherwise, a physician should be consulted
These criteria are likely to change in 2020 with Bill 31 and updated regulations... but it's not in effect yet.
