Hello, I started to have a urinary infection on Wednesday during the day, Wednesday evening at 10pm. I took a sachet of fosfomycin and I read that it stayed in the body for 48 hours.
I have doubts about a report that took place 5 weeks ago even if I am under implant I think I took a drug that reduced the effectiveness of my implant I wanted to do a pregnancy test but with the infection I do not know when I can do it because I read several times that a urinary infection could make a false positive. Can you tell me when I can do a pregnancy test without the risk of the infection having an effect on it?

Hello ma'am, as previously discussed, it is unlikely that an infection would affect a pregnancy test. I had also informed you that the antibiotics you had taken do not affect your implant or a test result
A pregnancy test can be done from the first expected day of menstruation, but this is more difficult to establish with continuous contraceptive use
If you have any doubts, I suggest testing 1 and 2 months after intercourse.
Sincerely,

The relationship took place on August 8, which is why I wanted to do a test this week.
