Is there any contraindication for laser hair removal if I took doxycycline 2 months ago?

Hello, are there any contraindications for laser hair removal (lightsheer Duet) for a 16 year old girl who had a treatment of Doxyxycline 100 mg ended 2 months ago? What other acne medication could be considered? Thank you

Hi, thanks for your question!

If the doxycycline was finished 1-2 months ago, its photosensitizing effects would be negligible now

On the other hand, even topical treatments can make the skin more sensitive to the sun or laser.
