I changed my Nuvaring 1 day early, is it serious?

I changed my nuvaring too quickly. I normally change every Sunday 1 week out of 3. I wear the ring continuously and I change the ring to avoid having my period. Tonight is Saturday and I made a mistake, so I put on a new ring 1 day too early.

If you wear the ring continuously for 21 consecutive days without forgetting to wear it, there is no reason to worry. The Nuvaring will remain effective :)

So, I have to change it on Saturday in 3 weeks, after 21 days, right?

You can, if you wish, wear it 22 days and resume your regular schedule on Sundays :)
