Does ibuprofen or its equivalent exist in the Dominican Republic and available over the counter?

Fever 39.5-39.9 for almost 3 days. I am running out of advil for my child (2 years old and 26lbs) while I am traveling abroad

Hello Ma'am,

Yes, you should be able to find ibuprofen and acetaminophen without a prescription in the Republic.

That said, when children have a fever for so long (more than 3 days), it is best to see a doctor to determine the cause. We would also try to keep children out of the heat (stay in air conditioning) until the fever subsides.
