Hello my wife and I have the flu with a wet cough. We have been taking "benylin extra strength mucus and phlegm".

Hello Sir,   Generally, I would suggest only taking one of the two medications at a time, therefore it’s to be spaced out by 6 hours. Also, we usually prefer non-pharmacological approaches for flus. Here are a few general tips on how to deal with a flu: Pain, fever, headaches : Tylenol alone (maximum 4000 mg per day) (not with Neocitran) Sore throat : gargle salt water (1/4 to ½ teaspoon of salt in 250 ml of water) Cough : drink a lot of water, add honey to soothe the throat Runny nose or congestion : saline solution, like Sinus Rinse, two times a day to clean the nose and to limit the secretions in the throat Rest a lot and stay hydrated Wash hands frequently I hope this answers your question!
