Can I use over the counter products for plantar warts if I suffer from diabetes?

I am inclined to agree with your pharmacist, because diabetes can hinder healing as well as decrease sensation to lower extremities. As such, damage with this kind of products is more likely to go unnoticed and that can cause complications.

If you insist on using products like Compound W, know that it is indeed not recommended if you suffer from diabetes, and I strongly suggest you evaluate your foot and toes closely during treatment, at least daily.
